"Manufracture Music has carved a niche that is not easily categorized or replicated. It invents a new genre called Analog Core Industrial." – Edgar Allan Poets

One Mind, Three Sonic Worlds: Inside the Analog Sanctuary of Valerian Steel

Deep within a studio powered by the raw, untamed current of hardware synthesizers, Viennese electronic artist and producer Valerian Steel shapes sound into cinematic and club-ready realities. Rejecting digital shortcuts, Valerian harnesses the volatile electricity of true analog synths to mastermind three starkly distinct musical universes, proving that limitations breed absolute sonic rebellion.

  • Manufracture Music: The shadows come alive. This project is a brutal, pulse-pounding collision of Industrial, EBM, Darkwave, and Coldwave. Expect distorted basslines, mechanical rhythms, and a gritty, dystopian atmosphere engineered for underground dancefloors.

  • Music of Synergia: A masterclass in deep sonic immersion. Valerian shifts gears into Ambient, Cinematic, and Chill soundscapes, weaving lush, sprawling modular textures that transport listeners into cosmic and emotional depths.

  • Fourtyfication*5: High-energy, mind-bending electronic music at its finest. Blending heavy EDM grooves with unpredictable Glitch production, this project delivers complex, shifting rhythms and hyper-detailed analog sound design that keeps futuristic dancefloors guessing.

Whether capturing the decay of modern society, the vastness of the cosmos, or the chaotic perfection of glitch aesthetics, Valerian Steel is redefining what hardware-driven electronic music can achieve. One producer. Three sonic identities. Infinite analog power.

Bio

In the winter of 2024/2025, Valerian Steel stood in the ruins of an abandoned concrete factory and decided to release his music. In this factory, the cold metal walls were humming with echoes of a forgotten era. As he touched a rusted control panel, a sudden surge of sound erupted — mechanical whispers, distorted melodies, the pulse of something alive beneath decay. It was as if the building itself was singing. That night, he dreamt of a world, where fractured machines and lost voices formed a new symphony — one only he could translate. When he awoke, the decision was clear: Manufracture Music had to be heard... Valerian Steel is the creative force behind Manufracture Music, crafting intricate sonic landscapes that blend industrial grit with cinematic depth. Valerian has grown up with music like Skinny Puppy, The Cure, Depeche Mode and many pop artists of the late 80s. He has been playing the piano and has sung in an choir where he used to take part in theatre performances. Valerian works with different singers – male and female. He is known for pushing the boundaries of electronic composition, his work fuses mechanical precision with raw emotion, delivering immersive soundscapes that captivate listeners. With a dedication to innovation and an ear for the unexpected, Valerian Steel continues to forge new paths in electronic and experimental music.

"...With “End of Life,” Manufracture Music shows they are willing to explore the depths of human experience through sound. This is more than just a single, it’s an atmospheric journey that draws you in, disturbs you, and then brings you back to life. This track is both a challenge and a reward for fans of dark electronic music. It is a chilling, electrifying reminder of how powerful it can be to face the darker parts of life head-on...." "Ghosts(and) Blood Syntax is a great example of what Future pop and EBM together sound like. Some Rammstein sets in as well. How is it possible that even today great music is still made? Transition from transition makeup for a very unique blend of styles here. The Frozen Autumn comes to mind in dark wave format. Production is perfect and so is the mixing of the music. 10/10" Weatnu Records "Release Note | Vienna, Austria

"The renowned Austrian producer and musician Valerian Steel returns to lead his Manufracture Music project with the release of 'Blood Syntax,' a double album released on June 3, 2025. With an approach that hybridizes dark industrial electro with a critique of the digital age, this work proposes a frenetic journey through modern entropy: glitches, AI, fragmented relationships, and a constant vertigo that translates into sound. 'Blood Syntax' not only represents a sonic restlessness, but also a symbolic reflection on human disconnection in times where technology advances faster than our own emotions. Steel takes us to a realm where dystopia is no longer future, but everyday." EMU Rock & Metal / Episode 12: https://tinyurl.com/EMU-Rock-Metal

"From Austria, Manufracture Music tells us that electronics has a future if it mixes genres and messes up sounds today. “Escaping” is a song of dark-rock-pop-electronic-industrial. And inside the track there are also the legendary Eighties. In short, a journey into the future with a heart full of vintage ideas.“ Distopic: https://www.distopic.it/manufracture-music/ "I think the production and composition is cool here with a nice palette of sounds in the style. At times reminded me of Velvet Acid Christ and Front Line Assembly.” Curator of "Queen City Sounds and Art“

"Manufracture Music plunge deep into cyberpunk dystopia on Kinetic Decay, a dark industrial-electronic transmission drenched in mechanical tension, cinematic atmosphere, and digital paranoia. Combining cold synth textures, heavy rhythmic propulsion, and bleak futuristic imagery, the track paints a vivid portrait of technological collapse and emotional desolation. Its brooding production balances industrial grit with immersive sci-fi sound design, creating the sensation of wandering through a neon-lit wasteland where humanity and machinery blur together. Haunting, aggressive, and richly atmospheric, Kinetic Decay transforms digital entropy into a gripping sonic experience." "Interesting artistic approach and sound design, mysterious and immersive style of production with complex sounds.“ Curator of "Art Vibes Canada“
