BIO

Annex Panda feels not shiny enough to be mainstream, not hip enough for the underground, but just right here on the ground level. Carving their own sound out of eclectic influences, fluid guitar riffs, and melody driven eruptive-to-subtle vocals they are claiming their space as "Ground Pop." Annex Panda strives to merge it's sonic tastes into unique catchy bops.

March 2018 saw an eager release in their debut of pop-rock tunes titled Alive, a 33 minute 10 track Tour-de-Panda. Groundpop was released October 2019 as a successful follow up to Alive. The album thrives on a unique blend of pop tune structures and rock/alternative tonalities, elevated by honest "spunky" punk lyricism and improved production. From Jarod’s opening drums on “No Yes,” to Michael’s grinding solo in “Daria,” and Eric’s highest notes in “Lime,” there are plenty of exciting moments. Groundpop places Annex Panda in the Twin Cities music scene and beyond as a must see band.
