Be the light in a darkened world...

As Daylight Dies was born in February 2024, the result of a shared passion for Killswitch Engage and a desire to push musical boundaries.

Guitarist Nathan Sieg and bassist Gray Williams, fresh from an ambitious but short-lived ’90s tribute project, were eager to explore something new. They knew a tribute band was in their future—but the question remained: who would they honor? One thing was clear—they wanted to go heavy. Metalcore heavy. And who better to pay homage to than the legendary Killswitch Engage?

The idea quickly gained momentum. Vocalist Guy Elliot and drummer Clint Lentz soon joined the fold, and from the very first rehearsal, the chemistry was undeniable. Matt Pasley joined on second guitar shortly after and it was clear to everyone—they had the potential to create something extraordinary.

As Daylight Dies is here to bring the raw energy and power of Killswitch Engage to the Triad and beyond!
