• Oscarr

Oscarr is a Nigerian Hip-Hop/Rap artist infused with an Afrocentric sound. He began music in Canada 2013 with Omar and B.O.S creating a movement known as the Certified Bad Guys (C.B.G). They created Bicycle a heavy Afro Hip-Hop sattire song, which emerged as an anthem in the Nigerian music scene. Oscarr followed up with a solo single Ponuzo with a similar sound, quickly placing himself on the map. The team went back to the studio to create a love song, Bamidele and the single got them university tour gigs in York University, Windsor University, Ryerson University, Ottawa University, and Sync Afrique - University of Toronto (Mississauga).

Oscarr put music on pause, and came back to Lagos to finish his undergrad in Business Administration. Shortly after, he began an Instagram series called #Woke16 where he addressed controversial topics in a 16 bar verse. Upon his transition back to Canada, he started #Groovy16. He used this as a means to create online engagement and traffic for his Hip-Hop brand.

After working with Ayüü on his debut album Ayüüniverse, Oscarr launched 2020 with a single from Oscarr featuring Omaremii (formally Omar) and B.O.S titled Mainland Parole.

Oscarr's most recent release Chances in 2021 garnered a lot of attention and some airplay in Lagos. His debut E.P in June 2020 titled Elephant In The Room which is a spin-off from his #Woke16 series, with more controversy and impeccable storytelling. Available on Soundcloud.
