There Be Wolves

The music of There Be Wolves spans the gamut - from wrenching ballads to ground-shaking pounders. Folksy introspection to operatic flourishes and heavy grinding rock - often within the same song. All while always staying true to the band's mantra, “The Song Above All”. Each tune sounds fresh yet dreamily familiar, a testament to the band’s dedication to crafting songs that stay lodged within you long after the needle lifts.

Formed in 2017, TBW was borne of a deep passion for creating and performing original music unshackled by genre or convention. Jason Lee (vocals, guitar), Melvin Liu (drums, vocals) and Bagus Wicaksono (bass, vocals) created the foundations for TBW and toured local clubs, before life circumstances forced a dissolution in 2019. As more new material emerged from Jason’s songwriting, TBW was rejuvenated in 2022. Jonathan Kang (bass, vocals) and George Lenox (guitar, vocals) joined Jason and Melvin, injecting a new spark to record the band’s debut EP, Time Is A Thief.

Having completed a string of major shows, including headlining the Esplanade's Outdoor Theatre and a 5-show tour of Tokyo, the band is currently working on new material in preparation for their next recording.
