• J-Twon short Bio

    Artist/CEO of Dope Hertz Entertainment

The 90s artist we never heard lol.

"Just cus u don't see me, Don't mean u wont see me"

Born and raised in Fort Worth Tx, J-Twon grew up around music. From his family of talented musician, to a consistent southern church choir environment mixed with the nearly unavoidable streets of Forest Hill, he developed a love for writing. Since then, he has constantly explored ways to evolve in expressing and projecting whats felt. An 80s baby raised by his grandparents and growing up in the 90s, you tell me his musical influences lol. From Gospel, R&B, Hip Hop, Soul, to Big Band, rock, metal, Grunge and much more, the art of storytelling, conveying an emotion, or simple substance is an appreciated art. A regular blue collar jack of all trades in the work force, X-military, and the day to day push pull of life are what comes threw in his music. The Progression is undeniable from his first self produced EP "Ride With Me" to the growth into working with other great producers on "Teardrop Theme Park" with much more to come. Enjoy a breath of fresh air and chill seasoned vibes from the coolest dude you never knew.

This is the first time in a while that we are completely blown away and impressed by a music discovery. This is thanks to J-TWON and his latest track I Know.

His vocal performance is out of this earth, unique, never-heard-before between lo-fi hip hop, vintage soul and subtle touches of RnB. It’s honestly almost impossible to describe it with conventional words as it creates a whole new kind of musical experience
