Spoonfed

Spoonfed is a Washington, D.C. based rock group consisting of Will Sevy (vocals / guitar), Kevin Cox (bass), and Kieran O’Dell (vocals / drums).

Spoonfed formed in the Summer of 2021 in the basement of their fraternity house at the University of Virginia. Soon after, they moved to Washington, D.C., where they are known for their lively shows with a growing following in the D.C. and Virginia area. On May 10th, 2025, Spoonfed released their debut single "Running Home." They have since followed it up with "Don't Go Anywhere," "Carry On," "Cornerstone," and their latest release, "Coulda Been A Good Thing."

"Coulda Been A Good Thing" is a song that blends the appeal and rhythm of alt-rock with the structural complexity of indie rock and mid-west emo. The result is a head-bopping car song with musical layers worth revisiting. Whether you're looking for a jam or rich musicality, this song has something for everyone.

The song describes a relationship that ended before it could truly begin. We all have that missed opportunity that we remember and think, "What if?" This song asks the listener to appreciate what the relationship could have been rather than regret what it wasn't.
