• Bio

At the intersection of melodic dubstep, trap, and deep and bass house is a name that has been coursing through virtual circles: Swole Sauce.
A self-instructed New York native motivated in part by a push to defy genre stasis, Swole Sauce—known offstage as Steven Zaslow—has steadily drawn a digital following since he first began disseminating his music via SoundCloud in June of 2020. In the short stretch of time that has followed, Swole Sauce has already won early praise from Dancing Astronaut and Vokaal . Labels such as Death Star Cult , for which the Queens-born experimentalist is currently producing an EP/his debut EP , have followed suit—and rightfully so.
A superpower in sound design and song writing whose versatile, genre-roving approach to electronic production justifies his status as a standout, Swole Sauce credits Ace Aura , Heimanu , and ARMNHMR as some of his influences. With a background in music, owed to his associate's degree in music production from Queensboro Community College, Zaslow is quickly rising up the ranks to give the dance space a masterclass in Swole Sauce sound.
