Maxime Pelletier

Founder and guitarist of The Dark Table, Maxime Pelletier’s musical journey began in 2001, where he honed his craft in the metal scene as the leader of the acclaimed band Distorthead. Born on Halloween, his affinity for the darker aspects of art has deeply influenced the band's signature sound—a fusion of metal, darkwave, and industrial rock. Maxime’s songwriting, production, and visionary leadership continue to guide The Dark Table as they prepare for their 2025 album, Nuke Em' All, aiming to challenge societal issues and awaken the masses.

Vincent Desrochers

Vincent Desrochers is the charismatic and emotive voice of The Dark Table. Known for his powerful and versatile vocal delivery, Vincent joined the band as its lead vocalist, bringing with him a passion for the intersection of metal and darkwave. Representing a new generation of artists, his vocal style has become an integral part of The Dark Table’s distinct sound. Jeff Jenkins

Jeff Jenkins, the bassist of The Dark Table, discovered his love for music at 21 years old. Initially drawn to classic metal bands like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, Jeff’s musical journey evolved as he embraced heavier styles such as djent, deathcore, and progressive metal, inspired by acts like Volumes, Monuments, and Attila. He played the Montreal circuit before joining death metal band Pallor Mortis and progressive band Elederoth. His experience touring with Keychain across the United States added to his extensive repertoire. In The Dark Table, Jeff brings a unique blend of core, djent, and 80s funk, adding depth and groove to the band's sound.

Daniel Valverde

Daniel Valverde Calderon, drummer of The Dark Table, hails from Costa Rica and brings a diverse range of influences to the band, including metal, progressive rock, pop, jazz, and electronic music. He studied under Carlos Sanders and admires legendary drummers like Dave Weckl. A chance encounter with Vincent at a restaurant led to Daniel joining the band, and his multifaceted approach to rhythm and percussion has significantly shaped the band's dynamic. In addition to his musical talent, Daniel is a professional artist and tattooist, incorporating his creative spirit into every aspect of his work with The Dark Table.

Maxime Pelletier - Founder & Creator
Maxime Pelletier is the creator, founder, and primary songwriter of both The Dark Table and Distorthead. With Distorthead, he led the band to perform at over 200 live shows, including the prominent Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello, one of Canada's biggest rock festivals. Under his direction, Distorthead released their debut album Invasive Species in 2014, blending deathcore with melodic influences to critical acclaim in the Quebec metal scene.
