The Mallees

Formed on the South Coast of England, The Mallees aim to bring their unique blend of Indie and Alternative Rock to music lovers everywhere. With a sound that’s both fresh and familiar, The Mallees explore the trials of modern life, tackling themes such as mental health struggles, the abuse of power, and the experience of young adults in current times.

They completed their line-up in the Summer of 2022 when Shay St Ledger was welcomed to the band on bass guitar, joining Ibi Bukhari on drums, Jake Jones on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Jonah Keown-Halley on lead vocals and rhythm guitar.

Their debut single ‘Losing Our Minds’, was featured on BBC Introducing and reached #1 on both the Express FM Local Music Chart and Voice FM South Coast Music Chart. Their second single ‘Stasis’ also reached #1 on both charts and both songs remained in the charts for a number of weeks.

Their third single ‘Avyanna’ is set to be released on 18th August 2023.
