Emerging from Jodhpur, India in 2019, Abhidaan is an indie pop duo formed by childhood friends Abhimanyu and Vardaan, who have been writing and performing music together since the age of 16. Blending indie pop, alternative influences, singer-songwriter intimacy, and modern sonic experimentation, the duo has steadily built a sound that feels youthful, nostalgic, and emotionally immersive.

Known for pairing heartfelt Hindi lyricism with vibrant production, Abhidaan’s music explores themes of love, longing, friendship, and growing up balancing delicate songwriting with energetic, cinematic soundscapes. Their debut single “Kahan Chali” (2022) was recognized by Rolling Stone India, marking an early breakthrough for the duo.

Since then, Abhidaan have independently released 8 songs, including their debut EP “Love.Right?”, while actively performing across the country and building a growing community of listeners online. Their live performances focus on creating an immersive and emotionally connected experience for audiences, blending intimacy with high-energy moments.

Over the years, the duo has performed at major platforms and festivals including the Under 25 Summit Main Stage and Bir Music Festival, while also sharing stages and supporting artists such as Anuv Jain, Raman Negi, KhoslaRaghu, and Nalayak.

As they continue expanding their audience both online and on stage, Abhidaan are carving a distinct space within the Indian indie landscape creating music that invites listeners to feel deeply, sing loudly, and lose themselves in the emotion of the moment.
