Kansas City punk rock musician, coffeepreneur, and former network engineer turning grief, motherhood, and survival into raw alternative rock anthems

Story

Amanda Fontaineece’s roots in rock run deep. A guitarist since age 10, she later became a founding member of the all-girl rock band Blood Savage, a chapter that helped shape her fiercely independent artistic identity. Now a solo punk rock artist from Kansas City, Amanda fuses loud guitars, unapologetic lyrics, and raw emotional storytelling into music that refuses to be silenced.

Forged in grit, grief, and relentless resolve, Amanda’s sound pulls from the raw defiance of Joan Jett, the powerhouse intensity of Halestorm, the dark atmospheric edge of Garbage, and the anarchic spirit of the Sex Pistols. Her music is not rebellion for show — it is survival set to distortion.

Loss has profoundly shaped Amanda’s songwriting. After losing her sister to leukemia in 2003 and later losing her father unexpectedly just before Christmas in 2022, Amanda turned grief into honesty, pain into purpose, and survival into sound. That emotional core runs through songs like Dead Dads Club, Thirty, Rewind, Poser, and Game Over, where vulnerability and grit collide in a way that feels both deeply personal and widely relatable.

Amanda’s song Thirty received radio support from 90.9 The Bridge in Kansas City, and she recently placed 5th in her category in the 2026 The People’s Artist campaign, presented by Johnny Depp in support of The Art of Elysium’s “ART HEALS” mission.

Offstage and behind the music, Amanda is just as multifaceted: a mother, author of The Angelic Human Trilogy, multi-instrumentalist, former network engineer, coffeepreneur and founder of Fontaineece Coffee Co., a family-owned operation she runs with her husband, Michael, and mom, Judy. She brings that same survival-driven, self-built intensity into every part of her creative world.

Amanda Fontaineece is punk rock with substance: intelligent, maternal, spiritual, entrepreneurial, and unapologetically real. Every lyric is lived, every chord is earned, and every song is proof that survival can be loud.

Press Angle

Amanda Fontaineece’s story is bigger than a single release. She is a mother, punk rock musician, trilogy author, coffeepreneur, former network engineer, and independent artist who built her creative world from the ground up.

After years of grief, family loss, burnout, and silence, Amanda returned to music with songs that refuse to soften the truth. Her work speaks to anyone who has carried too much, loved too hard, lost someone, rebuilt themselves, or felt like they had to become their own rescue.
