Amby plays music for lovers and losers who like are open to laughing and crying while listening.

The music exists somewhere in the venn diagram of: emotional swells of fellow scorpio Joni Mitchell, the blunt poetry of Martha Wainwright, and vocally challenging arrangements by Lizzy McAlpine. Amby toes the lines between folk, alternative rock, and country music - all while singing with a voice originally trained for musical theatre and choir.

Amber Landry's songwriting is a deep and personal well of experience and emotion. There is humour in these lyrics that bring a lightness and relatability to them - if they can laugh at themselves, so can you. A little laughter goes a long way in transferring stories of darkness, love, and spiritual hunger into a vessel of sound that is refreshing, honest, and intimate. Drink up.
