Bells of the Beach are an experimental alternative band from Cambridgeshire that take a 90s grunge sound to new heights by adding elements of ambient/dream pop and alt/soft rock.
Founded by Daniel Pirie (rhythm guitar) and Jessica Mitchell (vocals, bass) who met in college in Cambridge when the two decided that soft rock had been too long forgotten and deserved a re-imagining with a more modern sound but still keeping some classic rock elements to appeal to every generation. They were then joined by Tom Hancock (drums) and Cillian Hickey (lead guitar) who rounded out the bands sound with a thicker texture
Their debut EP 'Reminiscence' helped the band find their footing in the sound which they wished to create and demonstrated their skill in songwriting and unique and dreamy sound that is captivating younger and older audiences simultaneously.
