Born in New York, raised in Utah, and rooted in Ecuadorian heritage, Skar creates genre-fluid music driven by Spanish-influenced rhythms and emotionally honest lyricism. Raised with strong spiritual roots, Skar weaves themes of God, personal evolution, and self-worth into her work, crafting soundscapes that balance softness and strength and playful yet deep. A U.S. Army veteran who served four years at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, she now calls San Antonio, Texas home, bringing discipline and purpose into her artistry. Skar released her debut single in April 2025 and has since maintained consistent releases. Known for her magnetic stage presence, she has performed live in San Antonio, including opening for Paul Jesse’s Down South Tour and appearing at MiniFest. Beyond music, BIG SKAR is building a purpose-driven brand centered on healing, authenticity, and community, turning personal truth into universal sound.
