Emerging in 2012 from Los Angeles, CA, United States, CORRUPT blends death metal and thrash metal into a genre-defying sound.

Formed in 2012 in Los Angeles, CA, Corrupt has built a reputation as one of the city’s most relentless metal acts. Rising out of the backyard show circuit, the band played every metal, ska, and punk gig they could find, forging countless connections and cementing their place in the underground scene.

In 2023, they took their sound to Europe for their first-ever tour, “Art of Tour-ture,” debuting their debut LP Art of Torture at In Flammen Open Air (Torgau, Germany) and Stonehenge Festival (Netherlands), while headlining clubs across Belgium.

Now (2025) Corrupt has released their Sophomore album "BIBLI-KILL” a play on the word biblical, symbolizing the destruction of blind faith, hypocrisy, and religious control rather than an attack on belief itself. It represents the elimination of the corruption behind religion not faith itself, but the lies and fear used to control people in the name of God.
