Drova are a 4-piece heavy alternative progressive rock band formed in 2015. Initially writing toe-tapping rock anthems, Drova have progressed through several lineup changes, with their songwriting maturing into something darker and more progressive.

Drova have been described as a band that finds a blend of heavy, intricate riffs and catchy rock progressions. The music might shift from intense, powerful moments to serene, introspective passages, incorporating progressive structure and textural variety.

Drova have been a mainstay in bars and band venues around Melbourne since conception, and have four EPs to their name, with the latest and heaviest to date, “Sparta” released in June of 2024.

In 2020, the final lineup change saw bassist/vocalist Sean Farrow join the band, just before the pandemic brought several Melbourne gigs and an interstate run of shows to a halt.
Since gigs resumed in 2022, Drova have been a frequent addition to the Melbourne live music scene, with their massive sound and energetic live show!
