Eddie Johnson

Eddie Johnson, a 20-year-old up and coming country music artist has a deep passion for country music.

Inspired by his grandfather who introduced him to the guitar at a young age and who cultivated his love of country music, Eddie has recorded original songs at Curb Studios in Nashville, backed by talented session musicians including the legendary guitarist, Brent Mason, drummer Lonnie Wilson, fiddler Aubrey Haynie, and pedal steel guitarist scotty sanders.

In addition to his own compositions, Eddie's repertoire covers a wide range of country music from classic artists such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Merle Haggard to contemporary stars like Toby Keith, Riley Green, Chris Young, and Josh Turner. He also incorporates a touch of Southern rock into his performances, showcasing his versatility and musical prowess.

Eddie is the recipient of the 2025 Hugs 24/7 Radio's Best New Male Artist Award and his song ‘I Reckon’ earned him 2025 Song of the Year honors. Recently, his song 'Don't Meet Your Heroes' earned the #1 spot on Hugs 24/7 Radio's multi-genre Top 200 Chart following in 'I Reckon's' path,

Eddie’s other interests include hunting, fishing, boating, cooking, and working out six days a week in the gym. When not directly pursuing his musical goals, he works as a private security contractor in the shipping industry.
