My name is El Frere and I am a 21 year-old singer songwriter currently based in Leeds. Music has always played a huge role in my life and I have been singing for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was trained as a classical singer, performing both musical theatre and classical repertoire. However, I always wanted to create my own sound as a singer and I am extremely passionate about telling stories through my music. My debut single ‘Tightrope’ came out in December of last year. This is a project I am extremely proud of, and has given me further motivation to expand both my songwriting and vocal production. I am always working on new things, as well as continuing to uncover things about myself as an artist.
