About EXUVIA

Exuvia is a metal act with serious musicianship, a heavy and well-crafted sound, and a live show that delivers everything the recordings promise.

Formed in 2023, Exuvia consists of former members of other regional band favorites Mindspank, Broken Omen and Rain For Dust. This 4 piece metal group includes Shane Kelsey (vocals), Shawn Marshall (guitar), Forest Knight (bass) and Shane Silonis (drums).

Exuvia's debut album release Sanctum of Sorrow and Flies in May of 2026 has earned strong reviews. Exuvia has a reputation for relentless live performances and they're a genuine force in the heavy music scene. The compositions are structured, dynamic, and have enough detail to reward listening at volume. Exuvia knows that heaviness is as much about restraint as it is about power, and uses both to full effect. This is metal music for people who actually listen.
