GATHERING

For fans of: Dissection, Taake, Bathory, Death

Gathering was formed from the ashes of several bands and solo projects in 2023, blending the atmospheric ambience of traditional black metal with riffs that are technical and punishing.

Inspired by a wide range of influences, their music can be described as as technical, melodic, heavy and at times atmospheric. The music is complimented with lyrics inspired by the harsh and unforgiving natural world, as well as history, spirituality, and the human condition.

At live shows, Gathering's music is complimented by a stage adorned with bones, antlers, fog, and incense, providing the visualization of what the music is about.

Gathering released their self-titled debut album in the summer of 2025, and their upcoming EP "Tragedy of Awakening" is to be released on September 23rd, 2026.
