Gnat Theory is a fusion act built on solid guitar work, a tight rhythm section, and thoughtfully composed, genre-bending songs.

The sound is complex and energetic while still being filled with passion and soul, rooted in the fusion workings of Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, and John Scofield and the prog rock basing of Rush, Umphrey's McGee, and Genesis. Live, the energy is real: a well put together set of group interaction and high-level improvisation - a purely instrumental conversation.

With a growing catalogue of studio recordings and a reputation for strong headline and support performances, Gnat Theory is a reliable and hard-hitting live act.
