Emerging in 2021 from Auckland, NZ, to now living in Melbourne, Australia, Guntaas Oberoi blends her Indian classical melodies and roots with a more western indie-pop sound.

Guntaas Oberoi is an Indo-Kiwi indie-pop artist blending raw, emotional storytelling with the rich tonalities of Indian classical music and the Western indie-pop style. Known for her soul-stirring lyrics and effort to create a genre-fusing sound, she brings a unique voice to the contemporary music scene. In 2025, she performed at Auckland’s Moana Festival and has supported Australian artist Sarah Light on multiple shows across Melbourne, building a growing trans-Tasman fanbase.
