

Singer songwriter, Indra Jones hails from Oakland, California, where she was born and raised singing in the church . She discovered music at an early age playing piano trying to follow her big sister and singing in the church choir as well as various gospel groups around the bay area.
Indra has entertained audiences nationally and internationally with home base being the Bay Area, performing as a solo artist and also a featured artist with many of the top R&B, jazz and Top 40 bands. She also spent many years as background vocalist for legendary R&B singer Lenny Williams. Her voice can be heard on several house music releases including Think Twice featuring Charles McNeal on saxophone and Franky Boissy’s The Lovely Day Project. Indra has been performing in Las Vegas since 2017 and is a two time Las Vegas Black Music Awards nominee for Best Female Jazz vocalist.
Her latest release is Easy which features a laid back classic jazz mood. Her live performances include all styles of music from classic jazz standards to the latest pop and dance hits.
She studied music at Grambling State University, where she was also in the World Famed Tiger, marching band (alto sax) and was initiated into Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women Eta Zeta Chapter.
