Maple is a Dallas-based shoegaze and slowcore project that blends towering walls of guitar, hazy textures, and intimate songwriting into something that feels both nostalgic and immediate. Drawing inspiration from artists like Slowdive, Duster, Radiohead, and Spirit of the Beehive, Nothing, and Downward, Maple balances swirling distortion with quiet vulnerability, creating songs that reward both careful listening and overwhelming volume.

Originally formed by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mateo Delaguila, Maple grew out of years spent immersed in the Dallas music community. After performing in local projects and collaborating with artists across genres, the band became an outlet for exploring the intersection of dream pop, shoegaze, and slowcore through a distinctly DIY lens.

Since its debut, Maple has quickly established itself as an active part of the Dallas independent music scene, sharing stages with some of the city's emerging artists while helping organize community-focused events, including benefit concerts supporting the Texas Music Project. Whether playing intimate venues or louder DIY spaces, Maple aims to create performances that feel immersive, emotionally resonant, and deeply connected to the audience.
