About Massey's Cross

Straight out of Calgary's frozen prairies, this duo- Mark Templeton and Geoff Pascoe- met up catching footballs and devouring licks. When they finally locked in together, they didn't just form a band. They forged a weapon: classic rock muscle soaked in blues sweat, threaded with folk soul and jazz midnight cool, then wired to a modern edge sharp enough to cut right through.

No pretense. No safety net. Just two lifelong brothers-in -arms self producing, self releasing and self combusting across every streaming platform and late-night feed. EP "Pretty Tasha" set the mold in December 2024, then in October of 2025, they dropped "Memorial"-eight tracks of pure rock and roll.

This isn't retro. This isn't revival. This is two guys who looked at the endless Alberta horizon and decided it wasn't big enough.

Initially operating as an independent act with no label, the duo prioritized authentic fan connections over social media hype, balancing creative freedom with brand-building. In early 2026, Massey's Cross signed a record contract and distribution agreement with East London Recordings, marking a significant milestone that includes upcoming reissues of their work on vinyl and CD, along with radio promotion and playlist features like a slot on TJPL's Global Independent Vol. 1.

Looking forward, Massey's Cross plans to release a new album in late 2026, alongside live performances, potential tours, and collaborations under their new deal with East London Recordings. With their roots firmly in Calgary's vibrant music scene, they continue to evolve, capturing the essence of resilience and storytelling in their work.

Turn it up and follow them everywhere-Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube- because the prairies just got interesting, and they're not done yet.
