Maximiliano Obes, known artistically as Maxi Obes, is a Uruguayan singer-songwriter and independent artist emerging as one of the most personal voices in contemporary Latin pop/rock. Recognized as “The Toxic Romantic”, his music explores the contradictions of modern love: obsession, emotional dependency, desire, guilt, regret, and raw vulnerability.

With cinematic melodies, honest rock edge, and deeply personal lyrics, Maxi turns chaotic relationships and intense emotions into addictive, confessional soundtracks. His sound blends pop sensibility with rock rawness, creating an intimate yet powerful universe.Born and based in Montevideo’s Cordón neighborhood, he draws inspiration from the city’s nights and unfiltered emotional truth. He is also a model and creative consultant.
