Moonfloat is an indie-alternative rock solo project of singer-songwriter August based in Helsinki, Finland

In his music he combines different sounds indie and alternative rock, such as slacker rock, lofi indie, garage punk, and noise rock, with strong diy-ethics.

His first single, Take Me Home, was released in february 2026 in digital platforms, and first singles have received airplay on local radio stations. First album is planned to be released digitally sometime in 2026. The album deals with topics such as social alienation, existential crisis, and mental health struggles.
