aBOUT nmds

Hardcore project NMDS (pronounced nomads), is committed to proclaiming truth at all costs and directing those around them to the liberating source. This stylistic throw back to late 90s and early 2000s melodic hardcore, keeps true to punk roots and maintains high energy in chants, sing-alongs, and call backs. Fully recognizing that they are just passing through the world, NMDS wanders, not without aim, the earth to deliver a message of hope and remind others this is not the end; a world awaits, which is ruled by a King whose reign will never end. For now, they sojourn, encouraging many to join them on this journey, wake others from their slumber, in hopes to ready all they meet for the unexpected moment, of which no man knows the day or hour.

NMDS' origin is found with Danny Maldonado (Florida) of Clear Convictions (Strike First/Facedown Records alum) and Danny Thomas (Minnesota) of No Treaty (Independent), after both bands experienced attention between 2024-2025. As a friendship between the two began, Danny M. posed starting a side project with Danny T. as the front man, with a focus on straight forward hardcore sound and a positive message. As the duo shared a like-minded vision and taste stylistically, they went to work in August 25’. In preparation for filming music videos and prepping for their first show, they invited Julian Craddock (North Carolina) of Irae into the mix.

In partnership with Resuscitation Records & Empty Grave Parade, their debut EP, "A Dry and Thirsty Land," is being released on vinyl as a split 12" along with the "Holy" EP from xDOULOSx.
