Northern Lights are in the house...

Emerging from the limestone hills of Ipswich/Tulmur, Australia, Northern Lights blend elements of alternative rock, grunge, punk, emo, post-hardcore and metal into a genre-defying sound. Northern Lights have been blazing a trail around South East Queensland for several years as well as touring the East Coast of Australia. They’ve played stages from Greaser and Tomcat to Mansfield Tavern to opening for Irish powerpop trio Ash at The Tivoli. The band brings together a melting pot of diverse influences to enrich their unique blend of emotionally raw lyrics, catchy hooks, anthemic singalong choruses and face-melting guitar work. Northern Lights have charted on community radio across Australia, been played on independent radio around the globe, made it into the 4ZZZ Hot 100 and have recently started to be played on Triple J Unearthed. After spending years honing their craft as a must-see live act, the band are hard at work recording their debut album “Growing Pains” which is due for release on October 30, 2026.
