Planer is a rock band from Minneapolis. Early Work Records described their sound as “shoegaze adjacent throwback indie rock.”

Planer released their debut recording, titled “The End EP,” after only a few months of songwriting. The sound is seasoned and the feedback positive. Recordzilla says “As far as we are concerned, this is the best new band in Minneapolis.” Start-Track.com says “If by some chance you find yourself in the Midwest US while Planer is performing, do yourself a favor and stop in to see them. Like many new fans before you, Planer might just save your life as well."

Standout tracks "Paper" and "Satisfied" have received radio play in multiple markets, and The End EP has more than 15,000 streams across all platforms.

Guitarists Jack and Zack weave interlocking melodies with pulverizing riffs and share vocal duties. Bassist Matt Day provides the gravitational low end to anchor the angular guitar work, while drummer Ricky Frame drives the songs through moments of quiet introspection and explosive catharsis.

The band has hit the ground running, playing engaging shows locally with visual projections and looking to take the show on the road.
