Emerging in 2006 from WoodSide Queens, New York, P.O.L.O "Product Of Life's Obstacles" blends pop, hip hop, rap, boom bap and rnb into a genre-defying sound.

JohnPaul "PoLo" Ormaza was born in the home state of hiphop, and raised in Woodside Queens NY. Unlike many, PoLo found his passion very early on in life. Music always seemed to run through him. At age 10 is when he started really honing his talent of writing since hearing the intricate wordplay of past MC's like Rakim, Kool G Rap, Nas, Big Daddy Kane, AZ, Mobb Deep, Capone & Noreaga just to name a few. Fast forward early on trials and tribulations that could've led him to an early grave as a youngster, he started dedicating more time to his writing at the age of 18, and finally started breaking out of his shell. Moving to Miami is when things really started to take shape in regards to who he is as an artist and what his message would be to the world. Turning his nickname PoLo since birth into the acronym "Product Of Lifes Obstacles" he decided that commonality, inclusion, and empathy would be his core message through his music. He has appeared on platforms such as: Shade45 Sirius radio, Worldstar hiphop, and Complex to name a few. His latest single "Light It Up!" has been in rotation on 99Jamz in Miami, to most recently getting radio play for his song "Rise!". Now based in the North East; he continues his music journey by focusing on music that reaches the soul. PoLo has released an array of music with versatile sounds in both the English & Spanish markets. Currently, he is working on finishing his upcoming album titled " Dear 50-30....
