Reaper Man – Artist Bio

Ryan Lee McDaniel, known professionally as Reaper Man, is a genre-bending force in the underground music scene. Hailing from South Nashville, Tennessee, Reaper Man blends gangster rap, rock, emo, and experimental sounds into a raw, unapologetic style that’s entirely his own.

Starting his journey at just 15, recording tracks in his bedroom, Reaper Man stepped away from music to focus on family and work — only to return with renewed passion and a sharper creative edge. His lyrics cut deep, weaving gritty street narratives with emotional vulnerability, while his production pushes boundaries with heavy beats, distorted guitars, and atmospheric textures.

As founder of 8 Legged Creatures, his independent label, Reaper Man is committed to building a movement that thrives outside the mainstream. His performances are intense, immersive experiences that leave audiences charged and connected.

With each release, Reaper Man proves he’s not just making music — he’s crafting anthems for those who live life on their own terms.
