rellana is an electronic alternative rock project based in toronto, ontario.

rellana’s sound blends direct and honest emotional reflections with complex, experimental instrumentation. the project has developed a strong visual language, immediately recognizable to fans. the band hopes to make live performance an almost theatrical experience, where storytelling takes the spotlight.

rellana’s frontwoman, Abigail Smith, is a talented multi-instrumentalist who seamlessly blends deeply personal songwriting with meticulous instrumental crafting. Abigail creates beautiful layers in both her lyricism and instumental synthesization.

Kyla Regala joined the project as a guitarist and producer. Kyla brings an incredible technical skill, and a unique musical perspective with a history in emo and pop-punk songwriting. Kyla’s passion and focus bring incredible artistic energy to the project.
