Emerging from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Roux blends experimental, funk and rock into a genre-defying sound.
Roux continues to gain momentum with every performance. The band has brought their high-energy, groove-driven sound to stages like The Abbey Bar, HMAC, Dharma Bums, Kipona Fest, Karnival of the Arts, Pine Ridge Music Fest, and more.
Along the way, Roux has shared the stage with an exciting range of artists including Consider the Source, Hot Like Mars, Flux Capacitor, Chalk Dinosaur, and others—further solidifying their presence in the regional funk/jam scene.

How It Started
Roux began in 2020 as a three-piece featuring founding members Matt Wurst, Brian Miller, and Steve Fucsick. In 2023, the band expanded with the addition of Nolan Lord, pushing their sound into new territory.
As the shows got bigger, the band realized there was still one more layer to build. In early 2025, Brian Rooney joined the lineup, followed later that year by Travis Bossler, completing the vision.
Now a full six-piece, Roux crafts deep, evolving soundscapes that feel limitless — a band constantly growing, exploring, and reshaping their sonic universe.
