Seryn Ade is the self-produced music project of songwriter & producer Andrew Josef Heid that developed a sound that feels coherent and personal across the catalogue through songs about love & heartbreak. Every release demonstrates craft, attention, and a genuine point of view rather than a trend-chasing one. The Baltimore, MD born singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist began this new journey after years in small bands and then as a solo hip-hop artist from 2009-2016. Playing open mics, small shows as well as a daytime showcase during SXSW 2016 during that period. He then took an extended hiatus from music starting in 2016 up until the lockdowns of 2020 that left him with an itch to get back to his musical roots. This inspired a fresh start with this new project that encompasses all the experienced gained through songs with a new twist on nostalgic concepts.
