About Shakedown Beats

Emerging in 2019 from Denver, United States, Shakedown Beats blends bass and soul into a genre-defying sound. Music became a passion late in my life after giving up trumpet in sixth grade and never looking back until I discovered new genres of electronic music. This discovery created a love for the genre and gave me an irresistible hunger to create music of my own. This was the first step in creating the project under the title of Shakedown Beats, which has became a genre blending music producer and performer whose sound lives at the intersection of bass music, funk, soul, and hip hop, which were all influences for me growing up. Over the past eight years, I've honed a signature style that fuses heavy low-end energy with rich, organic grooves, creating an immersive experience that’s both powerful and deeply unique. Based in Colorado, I have performed at multiple venues throughout the Colorado Springs and Denver music scenes like the Black Box and Larimer Lounge, bringing infectious energy that emphasizes the love I have for creating something authentic. My performances blend layered textures with hard-hitting beats, pulling from a wide spectrum of influences while remaining unmistakably authentic. Driven by a love for rhythm, movement, and emotion, Shakedown Beats continues to push the boundaries of modern bass music , bridging the worlds of underground sound and timeless groove.
