Shea Isely is a singer-songwriter known for his subtle, minimalistic, yet lush folk sound. Hailing from the ever-expanding town of Bellingham, Washington in the upper Pacific Northwest, his songs invoke the intimate, introspective styles of Elliott Smith and the melodic depth of George Harrison. This creates what one fan coined, a "compassionate atmosphere". His current work showcases an emphasis on refined, revealing songwriting. An elegant evolution from his earlier, louder endeavors. Not to worry, his writing continues to instill a level of uncertainty that his spindling style guitar riffs once did years ago. Still with the promise that it too, will pass.

Isely's renowned guitar work was a fixture in the Bellingham music scene throughout the 2000s. He was a driving force in popular local rock and roll groups like Karate Kitchen and the math rock band Sweaty Sweaters, who maintained a strong regional presence and shared stages with notable touring acts such as Minus the Bear, Federation X, Two Gallants, The Americas, Rooftops, and Yoga Man Burning Band.
