Born in Gaborone, raised in Pretoria, and Zimbabwean by descent, Shellings is a UK-based DJ and producer rooted in Southern African electronic music. He spins his own crafted exclusives and blends Amapiano, Gqom, and 3 step, mixing old school tracks from 2017–2022 with today’s freshest sounds. His sets are immersive, precise, and full of intensity. They connect audiences and bring a taste of home to every stage.

Shellings’ musical foundation began in high school choir, where he served as lead vocalist and earned an honours award with his team. He then started producing with trap and hip hop, drawing influence from Metro Boomin’s melancholic depth while experimenting with rapping and singing. Between 2017 and 2020, Gqom and Amapiano became technical studies that refined his sense of rhythm, percussion, and control. Choir, trap, hip hop, Gqom, and Amapiano all shaped his disciplined approach to sound design. Now, based in the UK, his focus extends beyond production into community, collaboration, and live experiences, creating intentional sets that connect, energize, and leave a lasting imprint.
