Suba_suba

Emerging in 2009 from Bishkek, Suba blends house and drum bass into a genre-defying sound.

I’m Suba — a Budapest-based underground DJ and producer originally from Kyrgyzstan. My sound lives somewhere between chaos and groove: breakbeat, juke, footwork, jersey club, and speed dembow all collide in my sets, sometimes kissed by the warmth of habibi disco or the trippy swing of habibi acid. I love music that moves fast, hits deep, and makes people dance.

In 2024–2025 I began releasing music internationally, with a track premiering on CONNECT (São Paulo / London) on November 17 and a follow-up release with Amsterdam-based Sinchi Collective. These releases mark the start of a new chapter in my project, pushing my sound deeper into leftfield club, tribal rhythms, and experimental bass. I am also a resident on an underground community based radio in London "Subtle Radio".
