TEAL NEON

Emerging eager from Milan to Reykjavík, Teal Neon morphs alternative rock and indie pop into a genre-defying sound.

Marco John Marcer is a singer-songwriter, composer and musician with an education from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, Milan, now based in Reykjavík, Iceland for 6 years.
Previously co-wrote, performed and released music with the punk/grunge band Mislead from 2015-2020 at local venues such as Legend Club and Alcatraz, Milan, which provided the foundation for current endeavors.
Moving forward as a solo artist here in Iceland has allowed creativity and personal taste to flow where the raw and harsher sounds have subsided to give way to a more melodic approach and refined soundscape.
Project Teal Neon has a nostalgic feel with a 90's atmosphere mixed with a guitar-driven personal touch where acoustic nuances and distorted walls of sound find equilibrium.
Currently working on the release of a debut album and has already filmed a music video for one of the songs in collaboration with InFocus ehf.
