Emerging in 2019 from London, United Kingdom, Tendayi blends jazz, fusion, boom bap and hip hop into a genre-defying sound. Tendayi, a boundary-pushing artist at the intersection of experimental jazz and trip-hop, hails from South London with roots tracing back to Zimbabwe. His music exudes an irresistible Afro-UK rhythm, captivating audiences worldwide. With momentum building, fresh off two huge shows at Love Supreme and Bricklane jazz festival 25', having made his mark in America and Europe, Tendayi has released his debut EP 'The Process', produced by Jordan White. Beyond his prowess as a rapper and songwriter, Tendayi shines as an accomplished engineer and producer, having honed his skills at renowned RAK Studios. His unique blend of genres has garnered attention, leading to collaboration with electrifying names in jazz and hip-hop, including luminaries such as Richard Spaven, David Mrakpor (Blue Lab Beats), Matt Roberts (Boreal Sun), Ashley Henry, Jasper Hoiby, Tom Ford, Ayo Salawu (Kokoroko), Jackson Mathod, and Nicola Guida. Tendayi has graced iconic jazz venues, esteemed radio stations, and prestigious festivals across Europe, solidifying his position as a rising star in the music scene. His performances have illuminated revered stages, including Texas SXSW 2024, Brownswood Recordings, Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, The Lublin Jazz Festival, Radar Festival, EFG Jazz festival, The Troubadour, Sghetto Italia, Jazzrefreshed weekly, and The Amazing Grace.
