Tendency is a rock act built on solid guitar work, a tight rhythm section. Heavily inspired by bands in the growing indie rock scene, looking to make their own mark.
The sound is direct without being simple, rooted in the classic architecture of rock but with enough personality to feel current. Live, the energy is real: the kind of set that convinces sceptics and rewards the faithful in equal measure. Performances vary from high, in your face energy, to emotional vocal led songs, letting the crowd feel the performance personally and on their own level.
With a growing catalogue of original studio recordings and a reputation for strong headline and support performances, Tendency is a reliable and hard-hitting live act.

Tendency's beginnings
Tendency began in March of 2026. Playing and practicing cover songs enjoying music together aiming for a first gig. Tendency's first ever gig was a Yew Tree, Battle of the Bands competition in Newry. Having only been together for 3 months expectations were not high. They then continued to get into the finals of the Battle of the Bands and win the competition overall. Ahead of this, they were later asked back to play their own headline gig. The band are now currently working on their first EP of original music, developed with their own defining sound.
