
About The Azurescens
The Azurescens are a five-piece indie rock band from Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland blending Britpop attitude with psychedelic textures and anthemic guitar-driven melodies. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Oasis, The Verve, Kula Shaker, Ocean Colour Scene and Pink Floyd, the band have developed a sound that combines classic British rock influences with a modern indie edge. Formed in 2020, The Azurescens made their live debut in 2022 and quickly built a strong reputation on the Scottish live circuit. In 2023 they headlined a near sold out show at Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh and secured notable support slots including sharing the stage with The Utopiates at The Mash House and performing alongside Aziz Ibrahim. in November 2024 the band achieved a major milestone supporting Definitely Oasis at a Sold-Out show at The Liquid Room. Following a line up change in 2025 the band returned with renewed momentum and released their six-track EP Common Bond. The Azurescens are set to release their latest single "Dance Into The Night" on 8th May 2026, the first of several new tracks planned for release throughout the year. With a growing reputation for energetic live performances and a sound rooyed in classic British guitar music, The Azurescens continue to build momentum across Scotland and beyond
