About

The Halfdead is Houston’s loudest rock cover band, playing the songs from the 90s and 00s that you burned onto CDs.

The Halfdead is comprised of four seasoned musicians who have one common goal: to breathe new life into the music that sprang forth from 1990 to 2005. High energy alternative, grunge, pop punk, indie rock, and a pinch of metal from the best artists and bands from those decades. The mix-CDs you burned in high school after you tied up the phone line all night using AOL to download tracks on Napster.

We are professional, punctual, and equipped with the pro-gear needed to put on a great show (and the means to transport it). “Drama-Free Guarantee” on all bookings. We thrive in the dive bars, and wash up nicely for high brow corporate events.
