About

The Traveler is a young, Alternative-Ethereal Indie Visionary. He creates layers of sounds with layers of vocals to create a world within every single song. The creativity is only developing as he masters his craft.

The sound sits between bedroom intimacy and expansive landscapes ranging to out of this world. Sounds can be as small as the ambience of an empty living room, others can come from the horizon of a sunset. The Traveler is more than just a musician. As a developing producer, he understands a little more than the basics around sound design and engineering. With his ears and his mind being his most powerful tools, the possibilities for the young creator are endless.

The Traveler is developing his fanbase as he's gained a legitimate spot at Treefort Music Fest, Boise's most popular cultural event. His traction is still in the beginning stages but with continual releases of new music, some form of a crowd is bound to follow.

BIOGRAPHY

I started out in music during the COVID pandemic when I heard a song from a TV I was watching. After I finally figured out what the song was, I tried to learn it on the piano, drawing piano graphs on a piece of paper just so I could remember what sequence to play what notes. Driven by this sudden love for music, I joined my middle school orchestra where I picked up guitar. I learned how to compose and orchestrate music using Musescore and had the chance to perform a couple of my songs throughout 8th grade, Including a piece titled "Vengeance Ends Now" at the West Ada Middle School Orchestra Festival. Later I would then experiment with Neo-Classical realm that lead to a silent release, A Day to Ourselves (which is no longer available)

In high school, I adopted the persona of The Traveler. During this time, I struggled with self-doubt the sense of being lost. There were feelings that collapsed together with a personal event causing me to completley fall apart. Music saved me in a way, guiding me through dark times and ultimately inspiring the official debut album, Risking My Life, For The Sake of My Life. The search for revival and a path to rewrite my life continued with the release of my EP, Balance. Now, a new album is on the rise that explores the direction I want to take, offering a glimpse into my life story through an ethereal, folk-inspired lens. That album is titled Wayfinder, and there is a lot to talk about. i get the sense this is still only the beginning of the story.

Expansive, Intimate, Relatable, and Nostalgic; The main driving factors of my sound! Upon all of the layers of vocals, guitars, or synthesizers, there is always an emotion deeply rooted within the track. So song is made without a personal message, story, or lesson.

Standard

Through inspiration from small and big names, the expansive intimacy of grief, reflection, and gaining insights invokes the soundscape of The Traveler. The Traveler has recently announced and released a new 14 song album titled Wayfinder, made through alternative folk sounds and ideas.
