Emerging in 2017 from Oakland, California Ultra Sect quickly spearheaded the new generation of American Oi! with their brand of powerful Oi! creating a musical journey filled with forceful raw energy.

Formed by members of popular Bay Area groups Suede Razors, Sydney Ducks, and Hounds & Harlots, Ultra Sect’s direction is equally influenced by American Oi! bands from the likes of THE TEMPLARS to UK Oi! bands such as THE LAST RESORT and French Oi! bands like CAMERA SILENS, resulting in their own musical blend of aggressive, tough as nails Oi!

While the intention for Ultra Sect was meant to be more of a studio / side project as all members are also involved with other bands, the early recordings struck a nerve and the feedback received encouraged the band to give a little more priority to the band.  Since then there have been three 7”s, a split 7” and a 12” maxi EP as well as many shows including both UK and European tours, with an upcoming tour in support of LION’S LAW and THE CHISEL across Europe in February 2026.
