Wizard Eyes are an experimental doom metal band hailing from Brisbane/Meanjin, Australia. Esoteric black metal leanings, depressive shoegaze explorations and misanthropic dirges of amplifier feedback coalesce, congeal and fester around a core of crushingly bleak doom metal to create the band's unique world-rending sound. Begun in 2022 as a solo recording project inspired by the likes of Thou, Cowardice and Hell, Wizard Eyes only recently morphed into an even-heavier fully-fledged live band in late 2024. Despite this , they have already made a splash in the local extreme metal scene, gaining a reputation for their crushing live shows. At this point, the band has nowhere left to go but deeper into the black abyss, dragging as many innocents along with them as they can. Wizard Eyes reveal that which none were meant to see.
