ABOUT WIZARD EYES

Wizard Eyes are an experimental doom metal band hailing from Brisbane/Meanjin, Australia. Esoteric black metal leanings, depressive shoegaze explorations and misanthropic dirges of amplifier feedback coalesce, congeal and fester around a core of crushingly bleak doom metal to create the band's unique world-rending sound. Begun in 2022 as a solo recording project inspired by the likes of Thou, Deafheaven and Hell, Wizard Eyes are now an even-heavier fully-fledged live band, gaining a reputation for flattening crowds around Queensland with their crushing amplified meditations on hubris. At this point, the band has nowhere left to go but deeper into the black abyss, dragging as many innocents along with them as they can. Wizard Eyes reveal that which none were meant to see.
